1. Information we collect

Account information you provide directly when you register or use our services, such as your name, email address, phone number and login credentials.

Client information you choose to input about your own customers — personal details, documents, contracts, disputes and billing records — in order to run your business on the platform.

Payment information. Your card is tokenized by our PCI-compliant payment gateway. Crelit never sees or stores your full card number; we keep only metadata such as the last four digits, brand and expiry.

Automatic information, including your IP address, browser type, device characteristics and activity within the system, collected to keep the platform secure and improve performance.

2. How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

• Operate, maintain and secure the platform
• Process payments and manage subscriptions
• Provide customer support and communicate about your account
• Prevent fraud, abuse and unauthorized access
• Improve features based on aggregated, non-identifying usage

3. Service providers we share data with

We share only the information necessary for each provider to perform its function. Our providers include:

• NMI — payment processing and secure card vault
• Anthropic — AI dispute-letter drafting, always on redacted data that excludes personal identifiers
• Brevo and Mailjet — transactional email delivery
• LetterStream — printing and mailing of dispute letters
• IdentityIQ, SmartCredit and MyScoreIQ — three-bureau credit data, accessed exclusively through credentials you provide

4. How we protect your information

We protect data with AES-256 encryption at rest, TLS encryption in transit, role-based access controls, masked display of sensitive fields such as full SSNs, and an audit trail on sensitive actions. Access to client files is limited to people who need it for their work.

No system can be guaranteed completely secure. We monitor our systems and respond to incidents, but we cannot promise absolute security.

5. Data retention

We keep your information while your account is active, plus any period required by law or needed to resolve disputes. If you cancel or your trial expires, your access is suspended but your data is not automatically deleted. You may request an export or deletion of your data at any time by writing to info@crelit.com; we process such requests within a reasonable timeframe.

6. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct or request deletion of your personal information. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@crelit.com and we will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

7. Cookies

We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences such as language and theme, and understand platform usage. You can manage or block cookies through your browser settings; blocking essential cookies may prevent the platform from working correctly.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you through the platform or by email before they take effect. Continued use of Crelit after an update means you accept the revised policy.
